After graduating from Istanbul University, I began my career teaching Business English.

It did not take long for me to realise that working with adults was where I felt most aligned.

 

I went on to teach in different institutions for several years, and later travelled to Vancouver Career College to complete my TESOL training. I chose to do this in an English-speaking country because I wanted to deepen my understanding of language teaching in a more immersive way. Graduating top of my class remains one of the achievements I am most proud of.

After returning, I worked as an ESL teacher and later as an Education Director in well-established institutions. Alongside this, I continued investing in my development by attending seminars, learning from respected educators, and studying the work of polyglots.

Over the years, I began to see a pattern: adult learners were not only struggling with English itself, but also with the emotional weight they carried around it. Even when their vocabulary and grammar improved, many still found themselves unable to move forward with confidence.

That realisation changed the way I worked.

It led me first into coaching and later, after moving to the UK, into the Neurolanguage Coaching® programme. This ICF- and CPD-accredited training helped me bring together everything I had learned through teaching, coaching and my own personal journey and shape it into an approach that feels both human and effective.
